Where did she go
I knew of her, had seen her in adverts wearing short hair
being, sort of dubious sex, let them guess and smoking
a cigarette with the fragrance of the oriental express, yet
here she sat in a pavement café drinking Pernod, and as
Russian tanks rumbled through the stone cobble streets
she coolly beckoned to me to sit on the chair at her left.
I had a cold beer and lit an American cigarette, feeling tired
had carried a heavy suitcase across the town for a woman
claiming to be an actress, I had hoped she was a spy and

I didn't believe a word you said
Played dumb cuz I was afraid
Despite, you were a little ray of light
In my cold and fucked up world
Still no clue If some of your words were true
Could have been anyone, I knew
Someone with nothing better to do, killing time and space,
weirdness runs in the human race...
It doesn't matter now, I know
But if it wasn't for you I wouldnt had made it trough
It was a dark and loneley time,
I felt like my existance was a crime,
without a friend i would probably ended up killing...

what about the ale
What to know about ale?
I have a bottle of beer it is German and naturally cloudy
first brewed in 1624 in a small town with a strange name.
They didn’t get the beer clear and decided the beer could
be called “Dunkel” (cloudy) it worked and also cost more
which attracted the snobs.
I opened the beer and poured it into a glass, it was cloudy
like rain drifting in from the North Atlantic
I like Budweiser.
The beer reminded me of words not understood, but
sensed in a language every child understands.
Then it was over, the beer drunk...

The unseen
The zoo only had one giraffe it escaped
in the evening stood behind a phone pole trying to look inobtrusive
It worked since people had not expected to see a giraffe.
except, for curious dogs thinking it was a tree and peed on its feet.
I gave the animal an apple and took it home, I have a big garden
surrounded by tall hedges, but the giraffe was taller
Its head stuck over it was noticed.

The love bugs.
Love is like diabetes you have it and live with the malady
taking the right medicine but is not going away.
When a man falls in love, he thinks he is in heaven and follows
where love takes him until it dawns on him, he loves
a person who doesn´t love him or pretends to love him.
Whether she leaves him or he leaves her, the pain is equal.
It has no cure only a lifelong sadness that like a shadow
is always with him, if he had been more caring, she might

Pin cushion
I've been gutted and filleted
Castrated to the bone
Made a pin cushion of myself
Somebody get 911 on the phone
Was doing good for awhile
Then it hit me with a vengeance
Now I've pushed it way too far
I don't think I'll get a second chance
I'm stumblin' and can't feel my legs
Dump me in a cold shower
Don't know how long I'll last
The situation looks dower
Paramedics scream my name
I'm startin' to turn blue
If I could impart my last words
I'd say "Don't let this happen to you!"
