If I'd been there..
I hope you know I’m thinking of you,
while you lie in that cold, fluorescent haze,
counting the cracks in the ceiling,
listening to the hum of a world
that keeps moving without you.
I know how it feels.
I know how the walls whisper
like they want to keep you forever.
I know how the silence
can be louder than the screams
that got you there in the first place.
I’ve been there too.
More times than I care to count.
I know the weight of a locked door,
the way time slows down
until it feels like you’re drowning in days...

I had a dream.
Not of grandeur or poverty.
Power or flight.
Race nor riot.
A dream of waking.
endlessly waking.
Sometimes sitting up in bed…
Then just waking.
Am I still there?
I may never know.
Or soon be there.

Hoof-printed trails speak of goats, sheeps and livestock herds,and the small pawprints of sloughi left behind..easily recognized.I take the route daily trodden, the way of my thoughts to browse the forest woods, and the mountain rocks...

nak’dly perch’d on the shore
of a cold bathtub,
heart running wild ..
shifting like a small animal

coiled

I was asked to write something. For several days I have written...nothing.
Something - a pretty undefined but powerful word. What did she do? Something.
Something - is it better than nothing? It really depends on how nefarious "something" was?
Something - not what I have been doing!
I can now be said to have done nothing and also done something.
I have written: SOMETHING. Not a drippy sex escapade...sorry.
I have also posted 140 pieces of writing here and let me ask...something.

When we remove the negativity
How many of us have felt the vibes of the negativity, that comes into our lives, and felt like there is no escaping, from the deepness of the mind affects as it slowly begins, to drain you and take a hold of us just draining, us of our thoughts and strength. For sure it's necessary to revaluate the situations, that we find ourselves involved WITHIN in our lives. For sure no one is sent to you by chance or accident, 🤔 as that goes for when dealing with a relationship, that has BECOME a negative instead of a positive that can also, have a profound effect on you as well in mind and heart...

Energy vampires
The energy vampires came to suck out all the joy
Draining everyone dry so no ships can deploy
If they are sad we all must be sad
They lack the empathy I always add
Quick draw McGraw on the over reactions
No calm thinking not even a fraction,
Always looking on the dark side
Even the sun goes off to hide
The rants don’t take a breath
The self pity party never dies a death
I see joy in little things like sleeping hearing rain
I’ve seen darkness but don’t dwell on the pain
Get dragged under by the vampires in this land
Yearning...
