a witch's prayer
hello chaos, it's me your little darkling over faith times three
I petition your help
watch over my friend she needs you
mischief lead the way when in doubt
her need is great I feel it in my bones
carry her pain and remind her I have her back
faceless pretender take care of her
give her the love she desires
gentle is the way to her heart
tender passions speak volumes
listen to her wants
little things matter
remember what is important to her
or you will never know her

the bad guy
amidst my ruined heart
still sparks a love to give
sadness of a love lost
imbued with sorrow
tender feelings flow
I will not see her on the morrow
I covet her company and now I feel empty
I will love again of this I'm sure
but none will replace her
understanding of the misfit I am she surprised me
beautiful dangerous union
she pushed my outer limits
I will never forget our moments in the sun together
having philosophical talks she never questioned my knowledge
she took it at face value...

Cuddling
Hugging is a way of greeting
When two friends are meeting
Fully clothed, maybe a kiss.
Everyone is doing this.
With closer friends more is needed
A longer cuddle is conceded,
Outdoor cloths can be discarded
But modesty is well regarded.
With closest friends if secluded
A few steps to become denuded;
Bodies touching skin to skin,
It puts the senses in a spin.

Wasn’t really invested
But still disappointed
I cheered for the losing team
Typical
Good game though
Except for that bearded blusterer
Spouting testosterone
(Nothing against beards!
I’ve known some good ones in my time)
I liked the cocktails best
And the company
Friends make everything better
I missed my best friend most
You know who I mean
Right?
Of course,
I missed you!
But still disappointed

I’ve always known,
born a wee bit awkward,
throughout life, my path
so riddled with stones rocky
and heart-stained thorns
that I find myself upon
reflected introspection
filled with amazement
each time I am loved.
That said,
How fortuitous for me
to have stumbled
tripped into the warmth
and kindness of You!
Taking You by surprise
still, You helped me up
and herein, lies, “us.”
Not only did I fall
into You. . .
I now fall daily,
anew.

fate's friend
lilting in the energy
I feel heavy still I rise
touching the skies
entering the onyx kingdom
I am recognized
a child of fate coming to court
I come with respect and diligence in my heart
surrendering my burdens
while waves of tenderness wash over me
I petition my Father
let tomorrow be easier
today was a hard day
please forgive my tardiness to court
I wander in the elements searching for a friend
time chimes in
everything in its order. it will be as it should

tenderness whispers to me
gentle faith talking to my heart
