A Warped Tree
Today, when not arguing with Walter the Jew on Facebook
the ambiance in the house was surprisingly calm since
I got a key to my study in peace to read my latest collection
and found, at times, the poems had an internal rhyme and
were little stories
The pity is that I have to write without a publisher
can't afford to hire one; those I dare to ask run a thousand miles
one of them, a poor man, is a lecturer at Udevalla
Last year, I visited a crooked tree so shy its roots curled
in bashfulness, and its leaves took an autumnal color ...

she left me for a woman
She left me for a woman.
What can I say it just happened . a lost puppy
she avoided me at first but ate the food
skeptical in her young life, she has suffered
cruelty
I was watching TV when she decided to
throw her lot in with me, but he head on my
left food, how did she know I was a lefty
sat for an hour, not daring to move
she woke, stretched, and made signs she needed
a pee, but I had to go with her
Now that I was the master, I made rules
which she ignored at times
She had my mascot from Norway because

I'm so sorry that you have gone through so much pain, that all you wanted to do was violent things even when someone was nice to you.

I remember when someone who was once in my life told me that. Gadani beach
Gadani beach, the last call
she only needs skeletal crew
As I had not been to Pakistan
I volunteered to be skeletal
it was the beach in the name
I thought of seminude girls

Gadani was a cemetery for
for ship, too old and too small
for maritime business
My home, for two years made
into nails and turned into
unspeakable parts
This is life, sailors and ships
have a short life span

when the stars were still quiet
and we had infinite time
it would have saved you
less self-hatred

The Tumor
Last night, I watched a podcast
the man with the highest measured IQ
and I was pleasantly surprised
He looked and acted like a sane bloke
his views were an echo in my mind
best of all, he was like me, working-class
but had read the classics
his laughter was infectious
two hours well spent
His idea of God was how I think of God
there is good and evil in the world by
those who do not believe in the law of
nature and think they can ignore what
is fundamentally true
I woke up early following the thoughts...

when the winter was very hard
the big lake outside town froze solid
my brother had given me an old pair of skates
something with leather binning, I think
I could get them on
A young girl came; she was sweet and kind
helped to fasten the leather straps
I asked my brother who she was
She is different from the girls on the street
who were giggling a lot and smoking in the basement
My brother said she was my dad's sister
at home, I asked my mother about my other sister

Unconditional love
"Why do you love me?"
He asked with eyes full of tears
"I don't deserve you"
He said as a tear started to run down his face
"I put you through so much shit,
and you still stay. Why?"
I tried to hold back tears
as his words hurt my heart
I gently explained
"There is this beautiful thing
called unconditional love" I said
A smile lit up his face
I still feel like he doesn't understand
