Pop.
Jealously coils like snakes around my head,
whispering and flicking tongues in my ear.
My knees feel weak,
the brittleness of my bones shake with regret.
Fear covers my skin like a cold shower,
the walls feel so close and so far.
my stomach feels full with so much anger,
I sense bitter bile rising.
Saddness is in my throat
I cough it up from the bottom of my lungs.
I push my fingers into my skull,
hoping to pressure it into happiness.
Or to squeeze till I pop,
like an ugly old pimple.
One that's just ready...

Less and less, I like being near people
The café was full of people talking about
How expensive everything is
Buy less is my answer, prices will fall
Until you can afford to buy things you like
To a reduced price
Businesses react to demands by putting up
To rake in when the going is favorable
Wait till the market is sated, then pay less
Don’t be a slave to trends here today
Adverts tell lies about their great product
Nothing ever works, they say it does
If not, whatever it is, it normally breaks easily ...

The Middle EAST
The Middle East
When the persecuted became persecutors
chaos followed; what a mess the Middle East is
Both sides of the conflict like killing one other
up pops more fanatics with eager knives
If you are an Arab Christian, your life is short
if you are a Muslim, they will give you the key
to London and the neighboring locals
Is there such a being as a Christian Jew?
There are Orthodox Jews, men with braided
hair, wearing black hats and dark suits
round glasses make them look scholarly
Their women stay in the background when ...

swore to myself
I won't fall for your pleadings
will ignore you when you cry for help
leave you there all alone
just how you did to me
but one glance at you
and my heart yearns to help you
even if it means
breaking myself again allover
you knew it,didn't you?

Not A Day For A Daydream!
Back in time
Eye to eye contact
Was a pre-requisite
Of job interviews
I really, truly hated it
As i didn't want people
To see the sadness in my soul
Hidden behind my smiles of hope
It felt like an invasion of privacy
And fear
As once during
One of a myriad daydreams
My mind wandered
As i stared into
The oblique vagueries
Of my existence
And wandered the deserted plains of the ethereal
This was violently interrupted by
"What you fucking looking at!"
Just before being head butted for...

Rabbit holes
At times, the mind is like a warren,
Small rodents, digging land, barren,
Be careful here, remember Alice,
She fell down the rabbit hole, unmiss,
Entering into the chaotic network,
Unsure of how to navigate,
With circumspect, we investigate,
Deeper, we go darker, move forth,
Quick! follow the time burden lagomorph
Were left standing still, and lurk,
Like alices' storey, the holes shrink,
The very least it's what we think,
Our problems are getting bigger,
Frustrated, temper, hair pin trigger,

“Here it is Lyle,” Gary said handing him the picture. Lyle reached up from the hospital bed and

“To BE Young Again”
To not let the parables of rhyme
undo my feeble amorist and verse.
To not let the seething weariness of
time and test. Undo the span
of an unending curse.
To not see the cryptic patterns that leapt beneath the morrows.
To not let memories of my fading quest.
Feed my nightmarish sorrows.
To be young again. Oh how this thought makes me cower. For I know of its price and grandiose deals undoubtedly. The tragedies of this feeble wielding deal. A canker upon morality. As the truth would seem so forgotten with finality becoming so unreal.

Their New Regime
When I read what the high and mighty say
they come across as having no understanding
how the lesser people see the world
An overprivileged person called JFK. j
told us that the Palestinian people were
overrepresented on the world's stage, and that
Israel had offered to give the people
of Gaza greenhouse so they would become
self-sustainable growing their own tomatoes
To his amazement, Hamas turned down this
offer, but insisted on becoming a state that
that included the West Bank and East Jerusalem ...
