Glass engraved, lips brush
Flesh, blood, drank too much
Fit me like a glove
Sipped me just enough
We struggle to move past our regrets
And find we can't live with our present
I'm sorry that I never forgive
Plucked bud, withered love
Hands burned, gave the sun
Held me like none could
Asked if it felt good
We told each other we could escape
And now we can't remember the place
I hate that everything looks the same
Now
So I'll stay until the morning comes
There's nowhere...

The girl who won't change
She once was a junkie
she told her friends that she was going to get out of this apt that her boyfriend owns
she says there's bad vibes there
she said that he keeps me hooked on smack
she wanted change
she wanted to pull away from him, seek help and move forward
she wanted to escape the city & get away from people, places & things
she decided to hang with her girlfriends one night
she was at her best friends place
she got the urge to get high
she most certainly did, a half hour later,
she was found dead on the floor in her...

How long does it take for a heart to mend?
It's said that all good things come to an end
Then when does its antagonist dearly depart?
The Genesis of our breathing starts the clock
It's said docks of bad times don't last forever
Yet, their remnants remain; we call them triggers
The figures tell a tale of a living HELL
Overdosing while publicly doing well
Spectators can't tell when the well runs dry
But it all gets revealed when we surely die
We'll still wonder why it even occurred

i pray so reluctantly
like begging the father
to punish sparingly
choose the switch instead of the belt
my life is a shadow
casting itself upon my dreams
my dreams are sparks
that fail to ignite amidst the rain
screaming through the phone
you only hear static
i'm just a noise
a lack of definition

silent and complete
intravenous circulation

just another form of rehabilitation

Mind Altering Drugs
I saw today aliens wearing bad toupee's
they were having a foursome on the beach
I just watched
The waves were meh, so I just stared
One of the aliens was butt fucking the other alien,
came real fast and decided to go to the snack bar
I asked him where were they were from, he said, "Way past Uranus"!
I think he was kidding but then again, maybe he was insulting me
I saw him order antelope soup and a drink called yellow passion
Not sure what that was except,
when I ordered one, it tasted like piss
Actually it was piss!! ...

There is a serpent, and there is a dragon,
They bargain for mind and heart,
With tongues and scales,
Through shedding skin and ashes,
Broken promises of euphoria.
In their witching hour,
Hypnotic, manic induction,
Feverishly driven,
A temptation and tease,
Replaces abundance.
With the moon behind the sun,
As shadows darken,
Purpose is plundered,
Through fascination,
A wondrous curiosity.
Stubborn and boneheaded,
The battle with eternal conviction,
Control and choice are...
