"dating" for ppl like me
I think about movies and television series; the "dating scene" to be admired and seen from a background audience it almost always seems;
a hint of more or less vanity; like modeling for a magazine for validity;
we understand it's not only about what we like about the body;
though subconsciously it holds a great deal of sexual appeal to admire what your eyes see; everything is set-up traditionally for some sense of comfort and integrity; at least that's what is ingrained in most to believe;

Date Night
You know I’m a busy man
But tonight I’m all yours
don’t make any plans
It may seem that I don’t care
But I seen that you been going hard for me
I cleared my schedule so I can be free
Tonight there’s no need to rush
take all the time you need to get ready
Tonight its a date night
I really appreciate you
And it’s only right that treat you accordingly

I can't afford to fall in love
My crumbling humble estate
Benjamins to Lincolns
Goodbye, Penny pushing convenience

When summer and spring come along
Blooming desire like a flower

Quick trips out

life, lust, love and loss
Angelina was the first; Cold, calculating and cruel
I was naive, in love; an idealistic, romantic fool
Jackie kindly helped to restore my faith and trust
taught me how to please with tongue and every thrust
Clare was sweet and shy; moonlit skinny-dips eased her fears
At 16 I moved away; we parted friends, both shedding tears
Time at college supposedly for 'education and reflection'
reality were parties, alcohol, girls and a constant erection
Enjoyable years spent spreading charm and instruction
My previous experiences meant a queue waiting...

I have lately been contemplating taking my life
The question is, how?
I live on the seventh floor with a veranda
The falling is not bad I shudder by the impact
Also, upsetting people.
A shotgun in my mouth blowing my brain out Is too ghastly,
Ernest Hemingway did it shoot himself
Blood and gore all over the place.
A 22-calibre pistol should do it, but I dislike
Weapons.
To take a handful of pills will not do I would
Throw up and sweat profoundly.
I wish there were an injection that made me

reality is when a dreamer wakes up
remember bills has to be paid,
a divorcee in a room without windows
and only know it is raining from

I sit and write you poetry.
In the night, and throughout the day.
When we lay in one another’s arms,
my emotions doth stir and play.
Word by word and line by line,
My heart is getting all entwined,
I dream of you in prose and rhyme,
and pray that you will be: just mine.
You're on my mind, both day and night,
Thoughts of you, my hearts delight.
Beyond my prayers, I have one wish.
That you'll be mine, oh what bliss !
So as I gaze into your eyes,
My heart fills with loving poetry.

Drift me away
Our love has washed up ashore
This old wooden broken boat
won't float no more
It used to glide effortlessly
It's chipped paint has peeled layers
Of expression off my tired face
Once full of joy
Eyes once full of excitement
Anticipating when you would
Row it for me with romance in your eye
With grace in your style
I throw flower petals to the wind now
Watching them fly in awkward directions
They don't tell me what direction to go
Washed up ashore
Lonely, going nowhere
But into romantic memories
To drift me...
