I am the bird
That was made by my father

The short poem
There was a time when writing poetry
was important to say something, using a few words
Long poems were frowned upon as a beginning
of a manuscript
He used to be a communist, as his mother was one
Communism, like unbridled capitalism, hates
free speech, want a restriction on what to express
unless it is in favor of the regime
To be any good at isms, one needs passion and
hatred against those who do not succumb to the norm
the standard set not to upset the powerful
He gets angry seeing injustices and says,...

The eagle has landed
A very electric man who has vast riches
has hitherto behaved as your next-door neighbor
he might think he is that neighbor
He is not
An eagle sits on top of a tree, on branches further
down lesser birds that fly in formation
the eagle flies alone and harbors a loathing for
ducks and gees
He knows argumentative crows can be bothersome
he leaves a trail open for them, a path
that he can pretend to join when a hunt is not
disturbing the eagle's instinct

the nuclear family
In a nation far from here, several big explosions occurred
of such a magnitude, the cohesion of humanity has
the body, the brain, lost connection with the soul
the rebuilding didn't take long in a nation of smart and
hard-working people, whose new motto was "niceness"
Modern houses were built, and smart furniture and shiny walls where
a few nice paintings lacked any marks of intrusive souls hung
Young families had fewer children, one or two, children
tend to get in the way of the prosperity of success ...

Should the Russian army occupy Northerner Norway, they know the way
Last time they came and helped chase the Nazi army out and freed us was in 1945
Russia was popular after the war, Stalin was called Uncle Joe
This scared the USA it quickly sent the Marshal aid
there was a geo-political shift despite open borders
Relentless propaganda made Russians into monsters, but despite this, the borders were kept open
