The Oration of My Birth
The top-heavy desktop skated on a luminescent leaf.
While the curtain swaddled a blow-fish until full red,
the bees drank the mortar of the apartment blocks.
My blanket hadn't formed for a while from the cough syrup dripped on the Twister floor,
but the fabric filled the curve of a bubble wand.
One clothes hanger bent out of place
to poke a fried chicken breast awaited throbbing,
other than the broil of a stuffed bunny too puffy to leave itself in professional football.
The silk worms toiled together the...

The things I love the most - To my son Phoenix
When you float to your pillow from my arms, like a feather so peaceful, so delicate.
The warmth in your face as your turn over in your dream state, such wonder.
My boy how you Concur and learn,
Your smile and pride take me by surprise.
So proud of who you are, a king loving boy, your hugs, kisses, tugs and more.
The things I love the most.
When your arms fly in the air when you awake, my little Prince let's out a roar mama.
Such excitement in your eyes for the day, what new memories can we make.

The Sacred Art of Self Decoration with Monarch Butterflies
(Butterfly Contemplation)
There comes a time when doing what you want
without regard for other living things,
because there’s nothing that exists like you.
Will show all of your faults, and constant haunt
with smallest creature Mother Nature brings,
until you have the sense for what to do.
And who but I of noble tiger breed,
would take exception being told the rules
and heavy-handed lessons, to become
a new example living by the...

Most Easily Done By A Baby...
(now for thumb sing completely different.
to offset global warming debacle.)
Tis routine sleep simply, aye
refer, and absolutely necessary
if ye decry
and/or beg to differ
with this “NON FAKE”
knows worthy guy!
though i sheepishly attest
NOT tubby a
medical practitioner expert,
this beastie boy
doth his body electric best
nonetheless, ah chest
wanna draw (figuratively)
to allude when
the wave of fatigue doth crest

Ethiopian Songbird
Ethiopian Songbird
The taste of Ethiopian dust followed her into her dreams. Also, the beggar, blind in one eye, was there, who never panhandled to the miserly rich because while their bank accounts were full their hearts were empty. Also, there was the gypsy woman whose wares she couldn’t afford but who let her sit in the shade of her market stall. And let’s not forget the soldier who shared water from his canteen and drove her home in his jeep after she’d been begging herself.
The night Mama’s water broke she wept. She didn’t...

ALAS NIGHTS SWEET KIND WIND HAS FOUND ME (II) (6/1997, Galveston Island, Texas)
after so many
long
nightmarish years
of such terribly
hopeless
illness
and loss
stolen health
isolating aloneness
relentless
suffering and fear
there came
and was
a deep need
in my
soul
to fill this
dark hole
ive now become
which has
consumed my life
my joy
and all that

Do The Gods Recycle ? (A Collaboration With Blackwolf)
There Is The Defined And The Abstract
The Raw And Refined And What Is Said To Be Fact
There Are Thoughts , Unformed And Manifest
There Is Mental Stirring And The Mind At Rest
The Id The Idea The Vision Visualization
The Art Of Content Or Contemplation
The Nuance So Subtly And Softly Just Suggested
And Then All The Words To Be Digested ;
Surrender Of Suppression To It's Expansive Counterpart
The Inaudible Creation Of Temporal Substance As The Art
Endless...

Brother Luv
i]Thuggish
I regress from the start
open my heart to a man that deserves recognition for his efforts
for his will to survive and provide; never mind it a hustle.
what can be expected of a hustler
who am I to critique....
Two years and counting. Acknowledged something. built on an understanding that there is value in what the mass tosses; it's their losses; society can eat itself.
Who humble comes to my beckon and lifts me up even for a few hours. Lets me break out. Let's me express myself without judgment. And gives himself.

She Was Born a Slave
A woman is a bloody thing.
Since the endometrium began to cleanse.
There used to be an Apache Sunrise Dance
for celebration.
But she- this woman was truly a bloody thing.
She gave birth in her youth to engagement rings
that knotted her heart until muddy divorce
burst the woven vagus nerve to start again.
She had a child now
and a crimson hand from another one
her family begged her not to have and that dependable man ...
