Hornets Touch
Murderous hornet
I'll take you on
for I have met your kind before.
You struck me down
among the sounds
a fiddle plays
the widow mourns.
Smashed to the ground
where I was found
a sack of dung in my draws.
My eyes rolled back
tied to the tracks
twilight shows its glow no more.
Rolled over quick
"This fat ass is thick!"
cried Jimmy, the resident theft.
"Look through his pockets."
"Be gone with that locket."
O Jimmy, I'll creep in your sleep.
The slow hand of death ...
I'll take you on
for I have met your kind before.
You struck me down
among the sounds
a fiddle plays
the widow mourns.
Smashed to the ground

Bees buzz the bladderpod
A large fly lands on my knee
I snack on a cashew

Summer Lull
Sunlight comes down through the glass
And motes of dust sprinkle like snow
Though it’s not cold at all;
A warm haze permeates the house,
And a mild breeze riffles the lace curtains;
I feel a sleepiness, a haze.
This luxurious calm,
The heat a blanket and a veil
I find myself slow moving,
Like a foot in ankle deep pools,
Wading in the light
And out in the bright sun
I feel like a little mouse
Perched upon the edge of the world,
At the edge of the dining table,
Looking out over the streets
And the cars
And...

Return of the Worker Bee
I feel I’m on the verge of something quite new
Leaping blindly into the unknown, my fears far and few
A different career, a different path in front of me
While the finish line is what I came to see
I will apply myself to make this change
So I can meet this goal and rearrange
My life into something better than it’s been
To be able to look in The mirror and grin
Getting away from what used to bring me great joy
Now leaves me feeling like I’m a worthless toy
Soonly I hope that I can truly break free
And once more become like the worker bee
Leaping blindly into the unknown, my fears far and few
A different career, a different path in front of me
While the finish line is what I came to see
I will apply myself to make this change
So I can meet this goal and rearrange
My life into something better than it’s been

Soonly I hope that I can truly break free

Genesis 1.20 and 1.24 Reveal God's Modus Operandi
Genesis One, verses 20 and 24 POINT TO EVOLUTION as God's modus operandi.
It starts off with God bequeathing to Nature ("the waters..the earth") the ability
to create life ("bring forth the moving creature..the living creature..").
But not only is the original creating of life turned over to Nature,
the subsequent development of the species - speciation - is also turned over to Nature -
in the form of the very first original species or lifeforms.
For we read that way back in the beginning, God endowed each lifeform with the power to reproduce...

I am your natural freak
You'll find me on my knees
Observing ants and bees
Down by the winding creek
I am your difficult one
I watch events unfold
I won't do what I am told
Or aim the loaded gun
I am your flying fool
Wings of wax and fun
Soaring to the sun
Falling into your pool
You'll find me on my knees
Observing ants and bees
Down by the winding creek

Skullcaps and Batting Helmets
Fermentation, just
a bit of
drink to show where (beneath which
earth)
the bodies lie.
Coulda been more than coincidence, and certainly
more than yOur love of petit triumph,
Such are mere ground rules to which none pay attention. The
weight of which be awaited by filth'ed truck that we see in that
street, not knowing how to dispose of each other properly.
Here, right when light becomes dark, things smell rather...

EVOLUTION is SACRED Because GOD Used It As His Tool For Creating the Great VARIETY of Species
EVOLUTION Is SACRED Because It Is Presented in GENESIS, Chapter 1, Verses 20 And 24, As The Tool GOD Used To Create All The Species.
According to Genesis One, God endows NATURE with the power to create ("bring forth") life. For God says, "Let the waters BRING FORTH the moving creature that has life..Let the earth BRING FORTH the living creatures.." But more to the point, God says, "Let them bring forth according to their kinds.." In other words God turns over to each species the work of creating life. Its called motherhood, of course. But my point here is that at the same time that...

beekeeper's song
telling the bees
He is not worthy of the honeycomb
That shuns the hive because the bees have stings. —William Shakespeare
who will go and tell my honey bees when i am gone
for i have no earthly friends, except my bees alone
i have never known by lesson that they carry stings
for they only cool my troubles with their healing wings
legends say hives know of marriages and deaths and births
tales of ancient egypt, river nile, and celtic mirth
midnight hums on christmas day i cannot speak about
for such myths survive not in the fire of...
