Bring To Light a Hidden and Silent Life
There was a serene beauty prevailing around her as she everyday trod the path to work.. She looked so absorbed in her own thoughts that one might not spot the mysterious and cloudy stare into her eyes..
She knew her way to home and work by heart.. she seemed to be in a perfect tune with time and place.. all her movements appeared to be synchronized with the tempo of the sounds surrounding her..
Such a harmonious living human being! If only one could step into her world and bring to light her hidden and silent life!
Of those who watched her from afar would...

Faded photography
when I wasn't born yet
didn't have a face
can only have one face who is
who stays and remains like hate
like fear and oblivion
faces exist to be forgotten.
when I have died
I won't have a face
could only have one face
for who would be
nothing will remain
like desire or the body
faces that existed
and were forgotten.
the face I have is perishable
is soluble in water
sublimates into the air.

Queen of my Heart
Blessed are the flowers that bloom in your hair
Fed by the warmness from your heart full of care
The moonlight beams down, and your soul shines
The stars are twinkling, and I know this is a sign.
An otherworldly gift has been presented to me
A beautiful expression of heavenly art
This precious gift has set my soul free
A Princess; the Queen of my heart.
Fed by the warmness from your heart full of care
The moonlight beams down, and your soul shines

Homage to Figures of Art and Poetry
Barons of masterful verse,
your words are beautiful gardens
watered by rains of oblivion,
where vivid dreams dissolve
and life writhes unseen
like breath folded into air,
or rivers merging into streams.
Shakespeare,
you are a mirror of shadow and grace.
Angels whisper in your lines,
their tender voices echo
through pine-darkened countries
and the glaciers of time.
Dante,
you sing through infernal nights,
casting the lone light of a crucifix.
Prayers rise from despair,
exhaled like smoke, ...
your words are beautiful gardens
watered by rains of oblivion,
where vivid dreams dissolve
and life writhes unseen
like breath folded into air,
or rivers merging into streams.

Summer's Treausre
Summer comes fast, heat radiating outwards into the bright day,
It's as if the people glow, their auras gleaming in this sun-drenched sway.
The liberating feel of diving into cool waters during the scorching summer's heat,
And the sun, a warm yet unobtrusive ray,
while happy children confidently at play.
The day’s adventure, skies open wide,
Each step wrapped in love’s soft tide.
A gentle breeze, the grass lush and soft,
With laughter and voices rising aloft. ...

Morning Muse
I wake up to a silent house
the alarm cat slumbers still
walking softly on cold wood
feet melt into familial tree.
I step outside into the crisp
inhale deeply the dark sky
fields of star enfolding
follicles bristle the familiar cold.
I return to the shelter of tea
candles and incense alight
settle in to await sun’s arousal
lap abuzz with felial purr.
——
I pick up pen to wax poetic
place it quickly back in trough ...

The Party on the Stairs
We had a party on the stairs,
the ghostly belles and I,
and in that space between the dawn
and when the cockerel cries
we talked of many things,
including how I’d one day wear
a death mask just like theirs,
of powder and patch
and one beauty mark
to anchor the face to the room.
How in this world a woman is a ghost
before even her limbs have stilled,
her heart stopped beating in its cage,
her corset loosed at last.

Permanent
I want to be attached on you as the scars on your body
Permanent on your skin with no way of erasing my semblance
Embracing the journey of your body and all its transformations
Embedded in your most intimate places I know secrets about you that I’ll always conceal.

Cluttered mind
We were inseparable
Two lost souls intertwined
Connected by a force greater than human understanding could ever comprehend
I lost the arguments before concerns were ever even raised
So
Our children would never have to witness the fights.
I think back on the house we never built,
The trips we never took,
The life we never got to live,
An old age we would never reach
All because none of this ever happened
I never took that first step to meet you
I never found the words to speak to start something with you
The words I was...

Used To This
How quickly I've become used to this
How I've come to anticipate
To expect it
A notification alert has become a beacon of you
Your beautiful face to greet my morning
Like the sun rising on a new day
The passion
The desire
The love
My days are filled with the your warmth
The nights cold and lonely, devoid of your fire
Yet every moment dedicated and set aside for only you
How did I live before?
I won't imagine a life without you
I'm used to this and it's exactly what I want life to be

Might as Well Try
From the other direction she was calling my eye
It could be an illusion but I might as well try
From Scarlet Begonias, Grateful Dead
“There’s something about this place”, I said to Gisele, shortly after settling into our table. It’s not the menu, and certainly not it’s prices, it’s just the vibe. Indeed, Lay Logum is a unique little venue by the sea, intermingling restaurant fare with Plein-Air painting sessions. We we're there just for dinner… or at least that’s how I entered.
One thing that impresses discriminating clientele is their wait staff. They all...
