FACE
The many dimensions and aspects of a face of the human kind
Walking a path than can trip you at times when the terrain is the nitty gritty stuff. Rocks instead of grass and you fall on your arse and sink down past tree roots and shoots of daffodils that felt like hope.
You are on a downward trajectory and you feel that life has choked out all your funny quips and jokes and smoothed your laughter lines but left an anxiety riddled complexion and a nervous tic and a mind jacked on steroids flexing the muscles of ruminating.
It has left you feeling like you are...

sulking in the shadows
solace doesn't find me, sadness does
my peace altered by fear
the lurking phantoms, always about
torturing my thoughts
with gruesome scenarios
a heavy debt, for my association with the deep dark
swimming well enough in the depths
until my emotional sharks, come through and pull me under
it's out of my hands
it's a cold place, of no favor
I'm not highly redeemed in this place
I am known for being cruel
it's my response to these beings
my gentleness shows
until it doesn't ...

Who Looks Sexier? Me Or My Sister?
Hugh spotted Julia's new dress.
It looks like the one Justine's wearing.
His problem's telling them apart.
