Night's Embrace
To thee I must confide a somber tale,
That shadows deep and dark do hold my heart
In twilight's grasp, where light and dreams unveil,
I dwell within the gloom, ne'er to depart
The night enfolds me in its velvet cloak,
Where phantoms drift and whispered secrets stay
Within the dusk, where once bright hopes are broke,
I find a refuge, far from light’s array
No sun’s embrace nor dawn’s inviting gleam,
Shall coax me forth from shadow’s hidden lair
In darkness’ grasp, my soul doth weave its dream,
And in the gloom, I...

The Dark Between Hells
In realms 'twixt hells where shadows deep do dwell,
A place forsaken, ne'er by light adorned,
There lies a darkness darker than e'en Hell,
Where souls lament, by Heaven's grace forsworn.
No fiery pit, nor brimstone's searing flare,
But void eternal, still and void of sound,
Where echoes of despair do fill the air,
And restless spirits wander, lost, unbound.
In this abyss, 'twixt realms of doom and sin,
No hope doth shine, nor mercy doth descend,
For here the damned, their endless...

Pomegranate Kisses
The light in me
craves the darkness in you.
The hint of lust in thine eyes,
tells me that you want me too.
We mustn’t waste time,
as we have none to spare.
Make haste to ye’ olde pomegranate tree,
and wait for me there.
Under the cloak of the night’s sky
we’ll be hidden in the dark.
Devouring each other,
under the blooming pomegranates,
until we hear the cry of the lark.

as the globe burned
around him he thought, I need to go back to Anne, I’m
done with it all, I’ve done
all I can ..

no one’s perfect
I love twelfth night, although I think
the treatment of malvolio is appalling
I love a midsummer nights dream although I think the depiction of the mechanicals is demeaning
I love shakeare, but not all of him

life is theatre
ways out of the city were the
gates; he considered aldgate
as good as any other than
that he thought of new cross gate,
london bridge and the ferry
that would row you across
the river to southwark, to the globe, unimaginable escape ..

I mean, you won’t come up
with a better title for a romantic comedy than a midsummer
night’s dream all you like ..

and, sat in the wings ..
I’ve seen many plays
at the globe, but the one
that sticks out was
a midsummer nights
dream, when we sat in
the wings of faerie ..

ANNE HATH A WAY
Anne hath a way,
when in the hay,
to get her Bard
loving her hard,
shaking his spear
as they draw near
to seal, with kiss,
love's business.

Readership
I’m more interested in readership than comments.
The readers don’t have to like my compositions.
I don’t have to answer questions about my poetry,
And neither do I have to respond to any comments.
Where is Shakespeare to answer questions from the readers?
Can anybody ask the writers of the Bible questions?
Frankly, I don’t care what people think about my work.
I write poetry as a hobby, not for financial benefits.
My main objective is to get readership for my poetry.
I get what I want, as long as people read the...
