My daughter.
My purple rose.
You are going to have trials
And tribulations.
You are going to have sincere
Smiles and adorations.
You will give your love freely
And it affects you deeply.
Your tears will fall with
Seemingly no end.
The night will call to you
Looking for you to bend.
What I will say to you
With all my heart.
There is reason for you
From the very start.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
HISTORY
The celebrating of Mother's Day
can be traced back to ancient Greece
and the celebration of the Goddess Rhea;
made popular in the U.S.A back in 1868,
signed as a national day of observance
back in 1914 by President Wilson.
I can't speak for anyone else
relative to honoring mothers;
sadly some hate their mothers,
some have sad memories,
and millions worship, adore,
love and respect their mother.
Regardless, we all have one
thing in common: We were
birth from a mother. How things
have...

Married,
Divorced,
Single.
A weekly tradition
swapping the events
of overscheduled hours
devoted to nurturing
their offspring.
Precious moments,
few and far between,
where they can shun the tireless role,
sharing a bottle of wine
and their competitive spirits.
An elite congregation,
admired by evolved men
who practice the courtesy
of maternal worship
by allowing them a brief respite
from the constant focus of their kin.
Stroking their faces,
following the creases ...
