Lap around the sun
Another year has drifted by
passing at the blink of an eye.
Each blessing leaves me guessing what’s in store for me next
but I know my fate is in my hands.
It was a lovely loop around the sun
and in this moment of reflection free from haziness
I see how wonderful my life is.
All the love surrounding me, all the journeys,
the wild drunken nights and breathtaking views with beauty so blinding..
but experiencing these moments with the soul of my dreams is what elevates me.
My heart takes flight at the sight of his divine smile, his...

Becoming Ash
Cremation is my chosen final act.
May I become ash
to nourish the shores
where I was conceived.
In moments of passion,
I envision my flesh ablaze,
a withering torch.
Will my remains still pulse
with unquenched desire?
While I live, my eyes open wide
with longing,
and my arms extend in yearning,
not for rescue
but for embrace.
Yet the flames are too fierce.
My lovers do not hear my cries.
Burning, oh that ultimate,
bittersweet embrace with death.
I will relinquish...

The Longing Flower ...
A bird flew by and dropped a seed,
It landed softly on fertile soil.
With time, it grew, deep roots to hold,
But the flower dreamed of fields afar,
Longing to leave and reach the sky,
Unbound, untethered, and free to roam.
"Why must I stay when I wish to roam?"
It asked as life stirred within the seed.
The wind would whisper of the wide, free sky,
Yet something held it fast to the soil.
It yearned for adventures distant and far,
But the earth, unyielding, kept its hold.
The flower grew, but...

Astral
This psychic infection grows ferocious
Baring teeth in the form of mystic wile
Igniting throat of heaven grotendous
With gold scales to mark the stones of misdeed
Spit frigid words toward my direction
My simple ways pale the dark tile
My jagged shape rides its waves ascension
I scrape the dream I still struggle to read
Wounds mature dressed in midnight tapestry
Secretly feeding stars in single file
A constellation begging mastery
Half inside, half everywhere else at once
This ritual stirs silent
Keening...

How long do I have to say happy new year?
I write this poem every year
I'm already sick of good cheer
Optimism is another no go
Sullen and Sulky is my usual
When I'm being a sarcastic fuck
Then you know I'm happy
I'm already sick of good cheer
Optimism is another no go
Sullen and Sulky is my usual
When I'm being a sarcastic fuck
Then you know I'm happy

It's about you and me and us
They say that when a new year begins things are suppose to be better than the last year. 🤨 For sure it's necessary to understand that there is nothing, more powerful than a fresh start to begin, with a positive level of energy and perseverance and determination, to not to repeat old habits again. 🤨 For example sometimes we have to learn to walk away, from the negativity and drama and confusion, and madness of the old ways of thinking. THAT does nothing but bought us that much farther apart. As a society of people's no matter the creed or color or race, for sure we each have...

How have I aged? Let me count the ways...
17 - I escaped my abusive mother.
36 - Reunited with my 2 children.
5 - Flames everywhere!
50 - I haven't learned fucking thing!
4 - Pissed on and raped.
9 - Discovered a dead grandfather.
19 - The pain of childbirth.
50 - Heavily medicated.
13 - Short stay in foster care.
38 - Paid handjob queen.
20 - Watched my sister die.
50 - What will become of me?
11 - Broken ribs and deep inner scars.
37 - Momma's dead and never loved me.
34 - Stillborn! Forever cry!
50 - Occasional muffdiver.

The Arc of Man
The Spiral path
Born in hushed depths.
Life begins within stillness, untouched.
A pulse beats softly, whispering.
The world unseen, the breath unbroken.
Eyes widen to dawnlit hues.
Tiny hands grasp air, light floods.
Laughter resounds, innocence blossoms unspoiled.
Each step echoes, milestones multiply endlessly.
Anger broods in corners unseen, veiled whispers.
Trust fractures, sharp words scar tender hearts.
Dreams unravel, tempestuous skies unfurling in chaos.
Childhood fades swiftly, burdens linger as...

It's the 28th of December 2024
I came here eleven years ago
and met somebody extraordinary,
tonight I return to this bridge leaving
this note saying family can be
chosen in this life too.
We are smiling because you will
meet somebody extraordinary too,
you can't see us but we
are sitting beside you.

Chlorinate the Gene Pool
If I decided to piss in the gene pool,
would a new genetic variant be created?
Maybe my genetics would create a new species or a hybrid
Anything is an improvement of what currently resides on this planet

Everyone forgets my f**king birthday
Generally I'm not a big song and ceremony type
when it comes to birthday hype
If someone asks, I tell them the day
However beyond that I won't remind. Not my way
