Cold cold flesh coils
Another day ends.
Another soul lost.
Just another peaceful winter night.
Just the streets and the crisp crisp air that pleases my lungs as they burn in cold contentment.

We all have eyes
But it takes time to see
What is good & bad for you and me.
We both have a heart
But it takes time to feel

An itch that can never be scratched
A hunger that can never be sated
A thirst that can never be quenched
A craving to which there is no fix
Every moment of silence is excruciating
As if my heart has been torn from my chest
Carved with cruel intentions
An empty hole in its place
Hollow
Barren
