Pursuing Deepest Thrills of Love’s Conclude – Sonnet Nine
Pursuing deepest thrills of love’s conclude,
Like satyrs in their princely forest Spring,
Or unicorn in virgin’s lap intrude,
Or Beltane course the Maypole dancers bring.
Here, hard and soft in equal measure met,
A bower’s rill where lovers seek reside.
A peak enjoyed in gentle rain’s beset,
A creviced hill that proves a pilgrim’s hide.
For soon enough will worldly troubles shake
The sweet foundations sought in love’s entwine,
And worries of the day will passions take,
That once were whole devout of love’s recline.
...

FURRY ROAD
FURRY ROAD
The bunny rabbits come back
out of habits solely within
their holy nun habits
Fuzzy furry fury Wabuzz
-------just because--------
They want that jelly bean sugar buzz
Hell selly belly sentinal fuzz
seeking unpeeking unspeaking
unfertilized utilized eggs
mistook for to look for
the Holy holes
within the the hypnotized tranquilized
hidden forbidden eggs
waiting to be fertilized
to feed their lost furry soul
Then one day soon, friend,
they will hop back and attack
and cum on your back ...

Easter Sunday Notification
Some label the grave
cold, dark, rigid, desolate -
I am not one of them.
Vision-quest travels have impinged in me
huge beauty, higher vitality,
a permanent brightness of transience -
it sticks like an aroma of home
and cannot be unexperienced.
Easter’s meaning sweats my sensitivities:
‘O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?’ -
notification of reality beyond mere hope
paying no mind to vile church histories, perverted priests
enslaving theologies and burned cathedrals.

I am not one of them.

EASTER EGG
My heart has a shell around it
You can poke a needle through
Pour out all the runny insides
Scramble them- a meal for you
Paint it beautifully and then
Find a hidden place to stow
The shell- my empty heart I’ll find
And plant inside some me to grow
This ritual of resurrection
Happens with each passing year
Artwork layered on like armor
Symbol of a love sincere

Love, Despite.
I was lost before him, Pain was all I understood
Anger was my identity, hatred was a normal
I blamed my existence on him, despised the thought of him
But, he didn’t look at all that, he wanted me to be better
He took pain, accepted mockery and ridicule
He was still human, could have gotten cold feet
But he held on for me
I pushed him away, refused to let him in
He still kept coming back
I meant so much to him now
He couldn’t quit on me.
And then I saw him
Dragging all the way up that hill, in pains
He was spat on and tortured ...

RESURRECTION AND THE HOLY GHOST
How can a man suppose himself so strong
if it's well_known that death will end his road ?
Though he wore the two horns, and built strong fame,
the skull will make the scythe sharp like a sword.
No one escapes that end. Where will man go ?
Is it from earth to earth as some would say ?
Is there no hope for people to escape
the worry of that end and its dim way ?
I'm stunned how those who'd just denied Him could
become so strong and preach His own belief ?
It was the sudden power which they'd got ...

When the world went dark at 3 o’ clock
stock-market dealers pencilled a pause
vipassana healers went into shock
science researchers looked for a cause
political pundits wheedled for more
when the world went dark at 3 o’ clock
theology students dithered, unsure -
the weight of history stood in the dock
all of a sudden there came a ‘Knock, Knock!’
with Hades invaded, ghosts were surprised
when the world went dark at 3 o’ clock
choices were made concerning the lies ...

Every morning
I can feel your
presence in the air
Every breath
I take is you
in all I am
All my eyes can
see is what you
speak into existence
Lord your word...
He came to save us all...
He is risen as he said
come and see the place
where he lays

went and opened
the heaven gates
He is risen...

Jesus the saviour
of the earth...

One day your riding into town
On an donkey, with the crowd cheering
Representing the hope
This could be great, but its not. ( Mathew 21:1-17) Palm Sunday
Five days later
You are carrying a cross
With the crowds calling for your death
This could be sad but its not (John 19:16-42) Good Friday
Save our people ( Jeremiah 31:7)
Thinking small
Taking away the sins of the world (John 1:29)
That is beyond comprehension
Overcoming death (John 11:25-26) HAPPY EASTER
That's eternity
Matthew 28:6
