Merry Christmas, Mom - Part XII
You were my mother until I was forty-one.
I was fortunate and lucky to be your son.
December has arrived and Christmas is near.
Life would be better if you were still here.
You were the best woman that I've ever known.
But since you died, I've spent Christmases alone.
If you and I could share another Christmas, it would be great.
But you died over eleven years ago and it was a terrible fate.
I still miss you to this day and that is certainly true.
Have a Merry Christmas, Mom, everybody loves you.

Three Sizes too Small

Trans Reindeers With The Hump
Tis now the eve of december
A time to remember
NOT to watch tv
Avoid christmas ads, and emails
If anyone brings christmas into any conversation
Grunt audibly, then say "bah humbug!"
Then wander off, grumbling incoherently
Ironic that the first santa
Came to us from 11th century Turkey
Sounds like he was hatched!
Turkey, and santa, are you kidding me?
When santa lived in Turkey, he had no reindeer
And managed without for over 600 hundred years
Perhaps he used camels instead
Imagine six camels soaring into the night...

Santa Didn’t Read the Letters
Twas Christmas Eve, the house was still,
Jane and Tim plotted their vengeance with skill.
For Santa had failed, and the kids were upset,
Their dreams turned to ashes they’d never forget.
Jane had asked for a pony, sleek and refined,
But got socks with glitter, was Santa out of his mind?
Tim begged for a bike, a two-wheeled dream,
Instead, he unwrapped some socks and nose cream.
“What is this nonsense?” Jane cried in despair.
“Does Santa think this will show he cares?”
“He’s lazy or blind,” Tim said with a sneer,
“We’ll make...

Mrs.Claus Is Upset With Santa, Since He Only Comes Once a Year
Just hear those lay bells jingling
Ring-ting-tingling too
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a lay together with you
Outside the hoes are callin
They’ll be no blue ballin, "Yoo hoo"
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a lay ride together with you
Get it up, get it up, get it up
Let's go, let's look at the show
We're riding in a wastedland of snow
Got it up, got it up, got it up
It's grand, hold it in your hand
We're riding along with a song
Of a wintry...

Mingle Hells
Jingle bells, the night prevails,
the skull full of vodka sways.
Through the snow the spirits flow
in a haze of holiday craze.
Silent nights with blurry sights.
Laughter echoes in the air.
Raise a toast to the ghost
of memories we all share.
Cheers to friends and to the ends
of bottles lined in a row.
In the glow let it show.
The warmth of hearts we know.
Jingle bells, the story tells
of nights both wild and bright.
With the skull full of vodka
we toast to the festive light.

Speckle and Heckle
In the dead of night when the world is still,
Two elves awaken with a mischievous thrill.
Speckle and Heckle, those pint-sized pests,
Plot pranks galore at their craft, they’re the best.
With giggles and whispers, they hatch their schemes,
Turning sweet slumber into chaotic dreams.
Speckle sneaks in with a pot of strong glue,
Sticking children’s faces to pillows askew.
Heckle, not one to be outdone,
Switches the lights so they spark when they’re spun.
They paint the dog’s tail in peppermint stripes,
Then they steal the...

Santa’s Christmas Candy House
Spare me your gingerbread, brittle and stale,
And candy canes chipped from a old factory sale.
Santa’s no child; he’s been around the block,
And needs a stiff drink to steady the clock.
The kids all screech, their letters all groan:
“I want a phone, a dog, a drone!”
He reads their demands, his patience thin,
And dreams of a house with brandy within.
Whiskey? Too sharp. Eggnog? Too thick.
Wine? Too dull to do the trick.
But a Brandy House, bold and fine,
Is just the thing when you doing overtime.
The reindeer steer...

*Rudolph's Red Nose Truth*
Rudolph the reindeer, legend so bright,
But his nose wasn’t glowing from holiday light.
No, the truth’s a bit darker, with a magical twist,
It’s the Colombian fairies you’d never have missed.
They gave him the powder, they said it was pure,
“Only the strong can handle this cure!”
For Rudolph, no wings, no flying skills given,
He’d always been grounded, his dreams unforgiven.
“Just one little deal,” said the fairies with glee,
“And soon you’ll be soaring, as high as can be!”
With a snort and a sniff, his nose took to glow,...
