Strife
When storms do break and heavens weep
The cathedral spire wakes from sleep
A shadowed lance, it cleaves the rain
A hymn in stone through joy and pain
The clouds, like mourners, gather close
Their veils of grey a most solemn host
And through their tears a fleeting gleam
The spire ascends, a holy dream
Each droplet strikes with fleeting grace
A silver path on sacred face
And shadows twist in trembling flight
As rain and dark in union write
The gargoyles grin, their visages stark
In interplay of light and dark ...

Wages of The Faithless
In depths unseen, beneath the endless night
Where shadows writhe and whisper of despair
I walked, alone, beneath an empty light
To witness what awaits the soul laid bare
No angels’ song, no holy trumpets sound
Only the hollow moan of desolate cries
For here, where souls in darkness are unbound
The Faithless walk with vacant hopeless eyes
Their steps are slow, their hearts are cold as stone
The wages earned for turning from the truth
In endless grief, they walk, yet walk alone
Their faith forsaken in the fleeting youth
...

Thus Spoke Abaddon
"Lo, hark and weep, thou sons of dust
Man’s pride waxed and God’s decrees did rust
Once high, ye stood, in Eden’s grace
Now low ye crawl, a wretched race."
Thus spoke Abaddon
"In days of yore, thy hands were pure
But gold and sin thy hearts allure
Thy towers rose, thy pride took wing
Yet cursed thy voice, no more to sing."
Thus spoke Abaddon
"I watched thee fall, thy doom in stone
The mark of wrath, the seed was sown
By serpent’s tongue and lustful eye
Thy souls were bought, thy birthright...

Once high, ye stood, in Eden’s grace
Now low ye crawl, a wretched race."

Bold Lights
Dear God,
As I pen this brutally honest letter, it aches in my soul how mankind has been lied to, to the point where truth has all but been lost.
Ive always been scared, scared I would get it wrong, the whole faith and truth thing.
What if tradition has lied? What if we have just believed what we have passed down for so long and because we are scared to offend you, we just keep in it. I want you to know, from the depths of my heart, I will believe whatever you require me to believe in. My faith is in you, God of Abraham. You are the head, the God of love. If you say your son...

God, Can't You Hear Me?
Don't you care when you spit on gays because your book said so?
That you use your book for a way to hurt people?
Doesn't God see this?
Can't he wipe my tears
for all who just wanna be loved
and accepted
only to be spit on
in the name of justice
and Hell?
Why can't no one see what I see?
Stop with your pitch forks,
I've got the Devil's number.
I can call anytime.
I control him,
he doesn't control me,
bitch.
That you use your book for a way to hurt people?
Doesn't God see this?
Can't he wipe my tears

This poem is called Merry Christmas
It was cold .....
Yes...very cold outside....
.....but for some reason.....
.....
I felt warm....!!!!
.....
I didn't know why....
No....I couldn't figure it out....
.....for there was ice....in the streets....
grey clouds above....
and even a little snow....falling down.....
......and yet...
I felt warm.....so warm within......
......and
I couldn't see why....
......no....I couldn't see how.....
But then I knew......
......
Yes......
......
.......for soon....in just a few days...... ...

In Due Time
The seven angels have sounded their trumpets
Unleashing death unto mankind
Few will be spared this horrible fate
The holy who bare the sign
Now I have seen the light and I know the truth
And I hope that I’m on his list
The locusts are coming
With skeletons, armed, to drag you into the abyss
(Chorus)
In due time
You will meet your maker
Look to the sky
For the creator
In due time
You will die
In due time

The Book of Man
A story book their ingenious invention,
written with dishonest intention,
Penned by scribes with trembling quills,
To carve out myths and codify wills,
A patchwork text of borrowed, made up lore,
Bound to man an enthrall, to preach, implore.
Not a single voice divine, nor a holy pen,
But the schemes of greed, domination by power-hungry men.
Written by the minority they cleverly invent,
for the majority their ambitious intent,
Chosen by those who claim divine favor,
A gift to the few, the masses...

A Choir of Lies
In the halls of guilt, where coins
sing like crickets in the dark,
their psalms rise, a lattice of smoke
curling from a dying flame.
fear not the sins of others,
rather the sins of their own,
more than the sins of devil,
It's the sins of the Father after all.
The altar gleams, not with divinity,
but with the cold sheen of rivers
choked by gold. Their voices echo,
hollow gourds beaten by the wind,
each note a shard of glass
pressed against the throat of belief.
Abaddon watches like a stormcloud ...
sing like crickets in the dark,
their psalms rise, a lattice of smoke
curling from a dying flame.

rather the sins of their own,
more than the sins of devil,
It's the sins of the Father after all.

A Devilish Deal
Come one, come all, the carnival's here!
Bring your soul; there’s no need to fear.
Step right up to the Devil’s stand,
He’ll trade your essence for a sleight of hand.
The Dark One grins, his pitch refined,
“A bargain struck will free your mind!
Forget those rules of guilt and pain,
Just sign this slip and break your chain.”
“But what’s the catch?” you skeptics cry,
“What’s hidden deep within the lie?”
The Devil laughs, his voice a drawl,
“Oh, nothing much… just your mortal thrall.”
Religion gasps, the pews erupt, ...

I Still Wanna Know Why
These Hell testimonies...are they accurate? Muslim seeing Jesus. Folks from other religions seeing Jesus. I just don't...I don't understand it. I've heard also that it seems random whether someone goes to "Hell" or not, and that their life circumstances determine their afterlife. But I don't know. I don't understand.
Christianity is the only religion it seems that talks about unconditional love; it feels so right yet so wrong.
Why does Jesus think I wanna be like the Christians who are eager to point out my sin and that I'm going to Hell rather than actually...
