Death Of A Broken Love
Reminded of the memories that I
once held close to me
I realize I'm about to lose you
and then I see the knife
hanging out the back of me
Instead of removing it
you turned it round and round
and you left me for dead on the ground
WHY
Do I get no credit
for the times that I was there
I believed you when you said
you were different
Was I a fool?
and then again I see
the knife hanging out the back of me
and instead of removing it
you added another
and again you left me for dead
Tears are not present at this time
for I have none left to cry
I did this
I created a mess
that only I can fix
but you wouldn't let me
You treated me like a dog
and you made me eat everything
that I had just spit up
Reminded of the day we shared
our first kiss
I realize, I've already lost you
and then again I see
the knives hanging out the back of me
and instead of removing them
you added another
and you left me for dead
Thank You
