Fallen
I was walking on clouds
but never realized that my weight
slowly crumbled them
I fell down, deep and deeper
were no sun/son would ever come
in this darkness
a mute scream of my soul
left a crying hole
inside my chest
wanting more,
more than what was given
wasn't I supposed to be better?
cold breath into my lungs
the choking truth of my own emptiness
"there!" some others whispered - I said: "no one will ever come, we don't deserve it"
He was always there, but I was never looking for him. Even when I walked my hollow heavens I didn't see to whom I belong.
