Is it really love if I have to work so hard to keep it in line
is it really love if thinking of you depresses me all the time,
my tears now seem to be uneventful and a chore
is it really love when I don’t want to hear you anymore,


Is it really love if I have to beg and plead
is it really love if it makes me drop to my knees,
I lay at your feet holding my heart in the palm of my hand
is it really love when it sifts through so easily like sand,


Is it really love when we stay at a distance fighting more than we make
plans
is it really love when you postpone the simple task of holding my hand,
a lot of time has been place between us
a lot of memories lines the walls with distrust,


Is it really love when years passed feels like it’s wasted
is it really love when the bitterness in my voice can surely be tasted,
I stand alone I sit sleep dream alone
is it really love when feeling unloved is all I’ve known.
