Image for the poem Love Drawn Out

Love Drawn Out

an empty sheath
once filled with warmth
now blazes contempt
the hatred turned from
just too much
                   consent

so long adoration
gone on enough now
what use to keep hold
burnt chars of brown cows
first hot and heavy
becoming tainted air

the romance bubble bursts
so much caring into a cold stare of death
                                          for being with a loss
