WHAT SOFT LIGHT SPAWNS

  



    what soft
light spawns
    these
peculiar  little  
    inward
musings

    up from
some
    subconscious
shadowed
    realm

where hatching
    impressions
spontaneously
    born
seek out
    form

then fit
    themselves
with such
    uncertain wings
made of sudden
    words
like these

    in hopes
of fleeing
    somewhere
brighter
    far beyond
the outer reaches
    of all
complacent
    routine
blindness

    within that
stifling darkness
    up from
whence
    they come
to silently
    ascend
   
beyond
    all limits
of mere
    form
as if guided  
    on  by an
even greater
    mystery
     
ever closer
    towards
a radiant
    new dawn
of clearer
    more meaningful
free
    expression
and open
    understanding

whose
    boundless
horizon  
    it rises
upon
    reveals itself
at last

    to be  
perhaps
    that soft light
which always
    seems to
call on me
    subconsciously
to spawn

    these peculiar  
little
    inward musings
relentlessly
    on and on
through these
    restless
scratching
    lines

i often
    leave
leaked out
    behind    
each mindless
    pen I hold
in hand
    subliminally
releasing
