"Your Pain"
You talk about your pain,
like if you're the only one who's feeling it.
You talk about how I broke your heart,
like if it's my entire fault.
You talk about how since I've left you, your life's gone downhill...
like yours was the only one.
You talk about how you're depressed and you want your life to end...
Why am I still listening?!
Because you need someone there for you,
But haven't you ever thought I need someone there for me too?
I'm going through the same, yet when I confide you this you brush it away,
like if my pain can't ever compare to yours...
I'm weak too! What part of that can't you understand?
And yet, you ask me what's wrong....
Why do you want to know?
So you can just try and top my pain with yours?
I know I hurt you... I know I broke your heart,
But why do you have to come and break mine?

soft and fluid with a lot of emotion... the ove-load of punctuation diludes the power in the places where it ring's true...still a good read! keep grindin
