"Crazy"
I woke up with my back hurting from the fight I got in last night and scavenged thru the ashtray beside my bed. I light the biggest butt and inhale the smoke. I pop a handful of vicodin and wash it down with whats left of the beer I fell asleep drinking and look at the clock.
Its six am and I cant find my phone. I'm out of smokes and flat broke, "Fuck" I say out loud. This is gonna be a hell of a day. I limp upstairs to the kitchen and open the refridgerator, I grab a carton of milk ad take a long swig.
I stagger back downstairs and plop down on the couch. I turn on the tv and flip thru the channels. Nothing on except news, politcal bs and a romantic comedy. I stop on the romantic comedy for a second, it reminds me to much of her so I turn the tv back off and stretch out on the couch.
I guess I dozed off because next thing I know its after noon and my 13 year old cousin Abby is standing over me. "Ditch, what happened to your eye" she asked me
"I got in a fight last night, its nothing sweetheart, im fine" I assure her.
She shakes her head "Crazy" she calls me as she walks back upstairs.
