Hapiness' Gift

Chances are you know not what pain feels like,
physical or mental. Life, to you, was gental.
Chances are tears rarely fell from your eyes.
      Love overjoyed, never annoyed.

If this is the case, read not any further now.
My pain was great, I felt every state.
Life is full of ups and downs, but mostly downs.
Does the reader know, or happiness flow?

Feeling are hard to control, are they not?
Am I insane? Life is just a game?
Inside my chest is a dying lover, hurting indefinitely.
A suicidal deer, a game without cheer.

Sadness is abundant in my life,
you look to the sky as do I.
I still feel society's hatred and stupidity.
Do you not see? Your not blind as a tree.

Society takes the best and gives the worst,
anger resides here, fix all with a beer.
They drink away there happiness, causing worse problems.
Remember this skill, to skip the unneeded pill.

Do you see happy and courteous people?
You are fortunate, am I just unfortunate?
I see speedy and angry drivers; yelling daily.
Is this happy? Because I see unhappy.

Life, to me, is not yet happy.
Happiness I want, yet I lose the hunt.
Trying is my game of loss, but I keep trying.
Keep trying and keep dying.

This will be my final thought of life's agony.
Pain is now open, but we continue hoping,
we are hoping for a smile; what we find is problems.
Problems are life,  pain comes from that knife.
