The Girl Who Hides
I am a girl who hides away from judgment
I wonder if I can keep hiding
I hear them laughing
I see them joke
I want them to leave me alone
I am a girl who hides
I pretend to be ok
I feel so sad, lonely
I touch the night sky and envy its company of stars
I worry that no one cares
I cry alone
I am a girl who hides
I understand nothing
I say I’m ok
I dream I will be understood
I try to hide my true emotion
I hope one day I don’t have to
I am a girl, one who hides
