Beowolf Boast (An old High School English project)
I am Alyssa, eldest living daughter of Kevin
And distant kin of the horror-poet, Poe.
I had great talent as a young child, Passed down by my creative kinsmen,
Powers of wonderful word-work
And innovative imagery.
Others witnessed my wild growth; As I overcame father’s fine picture making.
As for my birthplace,
It was unpleasant, as was my father’s.
As I grew older, we grew tired;
My family moved from that merciless place
To a snowy, sad, almost still land, ...

Fear
There are many fears that swallow us whole
They engolf us in darkness, never to choke
Is it the blood on you hands, or the blood on your chest
Or the fear of your last quivering breath
The night sky, so dark, not caring a bit
While your sitting in your corner slitting your wrists
The window shines with the light of the moon
Beautiful, so beautiful, mocking your mood
The bats and rats, the very definition of fear
Stalk around in the darkness,not sheading a tear
The tall, dark...

Guild of the Broken Hearted
Welcome to the Guild of the broken...
Where everyone has been torn to shreads...
Nails in our beds.....
Where it is night forever...
And the sun never rises...
Where the bats and rats roam...
The darkness is our home sweet home...

Half A Heart
We used to share each others hearts
Your heart is wounded and scarred
While mine remains unharmed
So I give you half my heart
And you give me half yours
I give you half my happiness
And you give me half your pain
Then we can share the same pain
The same happiness
But now im bleeding on the floor
For my heart was ripped to shreads
There for hours and hours i blead
But time healed it eventually
But now it bleeds once again

Lucy
The road was cold
The road was dark
And there stood a girl
One with out a heart
She was a ghost
She was a spirit
She was always there
For attention she was desprite
She didnt want to be like this
She just wanted to go home
But she couldent
She was forever alone
She wonders through the night
For its all she can do
She sing softly
"What else can i do...."
Her name is lucy

The Girl Who Hides
I am a girl who hides away from judgment
I wonder if I can keep hiding
I hear them laughing
I see them joke
I want them to leave me alone
I am a girl who hides
I pretend to be ok
I feel so sad, lonely
I touch the night sky and envy its company of stars
I worry that no one cares
I cry alone
I am a girl who hides
I understand nothing

I apologize,but you don't believe my words
I always,always!end up getting you hurt
I try my best to move on,but i cant
by doing that,I might a well be breaking your hand
I cant find another,I beloved you were the one
But guess not...since its all said and done
I try to be just a friend,then I end up pissing you off
I'm horrible,I'm horrible!I'm just another cheap knock off
I'm sorry OK,I just want you to come back to me...

Graveyard Dream
I wonder through the graveyard where all my dreams are buried
The sky is black and broken,the graves are scattered and eroded
The pain in my chest,it Burns,it aches
I cant live with it,this feeling that feels a bit like hate
So i grab a knife so I can be buried with these dreams of mine
I stab myself in the heart,this death is far from kind
"God damit" I cough out crimson blood
I start to sink I the pitch black mud
As I die I see a stone with the words engraved
"Forever and always"

Love's Bond
Love at first sight",i've always believed
But others,the'yll never understand
They'll laugh in our faces,make jokes,make fun
But well stand strong,holding eachothers hands,never letting go
We'll show the world how love truly conqurs all,we'll show them our bond is beyond strong

Your Black Angel
You stand in a field of black roses
Blood drips from your lifeless eyes
Your broken,all alone
I walk over to you with black wings spread
I touch your fagile heart
I see your memories,the ones you rather forget
I feel all your pain,all your sadness
I look again into your dim,lifeless eyes
And I wipe away your crimson tears
I give you a gentle kiss
Your internal wounds begin to heal
And your eyes regain there light
This poem saved the life of someone dear to me...
