The Beauty of Song
You see her pass everyday
And you overlook her just as she such
She stays silent even though she wants to say
She doesn’t want you to know her pain is too much
She wonders painfully how long She can go on without love
She scars herself significantly But then she wears a glove
She doesn’t want anyone To realize what she’s done
She lays still everynight, while crying in bed
Contemplating turning her white sheets red
She’s never known love, the warmth it can bring
But instead of dying, she decides to sing
Her song is a melody, so lovely and sweet
She sings and hopes for love to sweep her off her feet
When she sings with all she feels it takes away her pain
When she sings its Nothing to lose, and everything to gain
