Why Do We Keep Going

Imagine that one day you go to a coffee shop
You order the regular and take your seat in the corner
Sometimes you like to people watch
You stare at Johnny and start to realize something
Who is this person?
You see him everyday when you come to the coffee shop
Why can't you recognize him?
Yes, you know he comes there everyday
You know you have seen him before
But really who is he? What is he?
You look around at everybody
Who are these people?
Where are you? What are you doing?
You don't have to be told that this is real
Because you know it is
But you also know that everybody is nothing
And then you suddenly realize that
YOU are nothing
You're simply an object
But what is an object?
Everything is actually nothing
And all you think about is how one day everyone else will know
One day everyone will realize that they are nothing
That this world is a big ball of NOTHING
Everyone is too caught up in life to realize it
But for some reason your mind has taken a step back
To really observe the world and take it all in
But what you don't understand is,
If we are all nothing
And if we will all eventually realize our nothingness when we die
Then why do we keep going?
Why do we keep pushing to become better and greater to turn into...nothing
You all don't see that we're already nothing!
We're not going to BECOME nothing because we already are
We're projections of an experiment
We're little test rats trying to figure out which way is right
Trying to satisfy whoever wants to see the outcome
We aren't becoming better for ourselves,
We're being thrown into a cage of lions and tigers
To see how long we can survive
To see who can do it right
To see,who's smart enough?
