Mirrored imaged
I've looked in the mirror so many times,
its routine to not take notice of the person I see.
But tonight I see, a lost soul.
Tortured by fear, ravaged by anger,
beaten by pride; poisoned by love. Slowly rotting.
I've become a corpse, who's pluse has subcumed
to hell's dictating hate.
I look in the mirror and see a girl who once used to
dream of beauty, and a life so free.
Only to be captive by her nightmare.
Caged in, a slave is what I shall be.
No choice but to give in and bow down to the world's hypocrisy.
I look in the mirror and this is what I see....
Me, eyes closed, ears covered, mouth taped...
for I shall not see, hear nor speak evil.
Please, will anyone come rescue me?
