Analogy Poem- Lonely Jigsaw puzzle Piece
I’m one in many
Who don’t know where they fit in
Watching others mingle with others
I feel I cower to suffice
Feeling lost in amongst
Many who’ve found they’re direction
And struggle to comprehend
Why I can’t find one to connect with
It’s almost as if there’s’ too much space
And too little pieces
It seems there’s too few fish in the sea
For one to settle for someone like me
They say I’m just one little piece
In what’s a much larger picture
Far bigger than me
Or that I could ever be
Coz I’m a lonely jig-saw puzzle piece
Of a scattered family tree
Now it seems that no one wants to sit by me
Evidently this is why I must live my life alone
Or die in trying
Who don’t know where they fit in
Watching others mingle with others
I feel I cower to suffice
Feeling lost in amongst
Many who’ve found they’re direction
And struggle to comprehend
Why I can’t find one to connect with
It’s almost as if there’s’ too much space
And too little pieces
It seems there’s too few fish in the sea
For one to settle for someone like me
They say I’m just one little piece
In what’s a much larger picture
Far bigger than me
Or that I could ever be
Coz I’m a lonely jig-saw puzzle piece
Of a scattered family tree
Now it seems that no one wants to sit by me
Evidently this is why I must live my life alone
Or die in trying
