Endless Sea
Reached for grace, but I fell further from it,
Sought your embrace, you wouldn’t commit,
None do, or has, wonder will they ever,
I have never been a part of together,
And as that heavenly glow slowly ekes of out sight,
I feel myself hollow, darkness burns, bright,
And across the void of nothing I see,
Mine own self glaring right back at me,
With a look of disdain and an aurora of pride,
He should have been me, I wished it, I tried,
But he was just, what I could have been,
A confident man, full of goodness so clean,
Am I floating or falling, I can’t tell the difference,
Yet I hear a calling that echoes from distance,
I turn to see, who is beckoning me,
But all that’s there is dark thoughts, and an endless sea.
