AFTER HER
Every ocean standing still.
The flowers bow before a grave.
In every eye,I see.
A shine that used to be
in hers.
Before she was taken away.
All of the planets, cease to turn.
Every star,all fall at once.
In every summer day,
carries forth,the painful change.
Since the moment,she's been gone.
Now all the times that I spend,
on the floor in my room.
Afraid to share what I feel,
with anyone,but you.
Are you surrounding?
Watching me come undone?
The tears,the screams,the broken glass.
The wounds,the sin,the haunted past,
the drugs...
The flowers bow before a grave.
In every eye,I see.
A shine that used to be
in hers.
Before she was taken away.
All of the planets, cease to turn.
Every star,all fall at once.
In every summer day,
carries forth,the painful change.
Since the moment,she's been gone.
Now all the times that I spend,
on the floor in my room.
Afraid to share what I feel,
with anyone,but you.
Are you surrounding?
Watching me come undone?
The tears,the screams,the broken glass.
The wounds,the sin,the haunted past,
the drugs...
