Looking through a telescope

The stars strained from
the ooze of the
universe
from a cosmic
sized honey
extractor

mostly
they're just
whipped infinitely
in all directions

Some go and make
their own paradise

Others get flung
into the sun

Some exploded prematurely
or get sucked into
black holes

Maybe if they're lucky
they could find
another stars orbit
and destroy each other
in some extravagant
execution

But it seems
only the lucky
ones get the right
conditions to
survive.

Sometimes,
i like to think
stars as people;
they seem to be
just like us, going
about life
one day at
a time. Not really
knowing when
the universe
is going
to fuck
everything over.
