Dance of the dead
Dancing with death
Is so peaceful
So painless
Seeing into the bitter end
Tasting the sweet surrender
Brings a joy to her soul
The bone withered cold finger tips of death
Grazing her arm
Sends shivers down her spine
Willing, she follows
Into the depths
Into the unknown
She finds refuge in this place
Feels nothing
Yet thoughts still cluster her mind
Death is inviting to her
Death is accepting of her
Allowing her to be
The dead girl she is
She follows death farther
Deeper into the abyss
The once tight skin
Becomes a silky ribbon
Dancing in the dark
Tearing away from her
It frees her
A soul without a shell
A soul with no trace
A soul wandering in the darkness
Dancing with its king
Is so peaceful
So painless
Seeing into the bitter end
Tasting the sweet surrender
Brings a joy to her soul
The bone withered cold finger tips of death
Grazing her arm
Sends shivers down her spine
Willing, she follows
Into the depths
Into the unknown
She finds refuge in this place
Feels nothing
Yet thoughts still cluster her mind
Death is inviting to her
Death is accepting of her
Allowing her to be
The dead girl she is
She follows death farther
Deeper into the abyss
The once tight skin
Becomes a silky ribbon
Dancing in the dark
Tearing away from her
It frees her
A soul without a shell
A soul with no trace
A soul wandering in the darkness
Dancing with its king
