You embodied the lunacy in the walls, the image the words - that was brilliant. The 'electric shock' line literally made me cringe. It was a pleasure to read. Truly wicked.

A disturbed friend of mine once consented to electro convulsive therapy and his memory was never the same again.
It's estimated that one million people worldwide are still given ECT treatment every year (500 of them in Ireland of all places).
I can only imagine how it must feel.
