paranoia
as unnecessary as a God is
everything is already laid as it will be
like a chess game by a master
he already knows how any game will go
physics only has so many choices
its not as if we don't have free will
but every step
every choice
lays out what the next step will be
always 3 moves ahead

Beautiful metaphor, expressed with subtlety. The God as chess master thing has been done so many times before, though you somehow make it seem fresh and unique. Perhaps this was the opposite of your intention, but the inevitability idea is somewhat comforting to me.

i actually didn't know the chess master metaphor had been done a million times (I'm not well read) but I'm glad it came out a little different
