My life for yours...

Headlights flash in her vision
leaving no time to react
no time to stop the collision
she screams as she looks at him,
the cars collide and she flies through the windshield
the only thought inher mind is if she'll see him again...
she comes to as he staggers through the doorway
their mixed blood obscuring his tear ridden face
bright lights and white walls srround them
and she doesn't know where they are as the tears race faster down his face
she knows that she will not make it
and opens her mouth to tell him she loves him
nothing comes out so she just cups his face with her hand
he sets her down as the doctors surround them
and brushes her lips with his and whispers something hushed under his breathe
he says goodbye and then falls to the floor
as people crowd to see in through the door
she passes out and wakes up in her own bed
a letter clutched in her hand...
"i love you more than you could have noticed
but i still know that you loved me more
i couldn't stand to see you so broken
so i made a deal... MY life for YOURS
