The Return (Working Title)
The Return
Dearest moon watch o’er my tomb
Let not the words fade/wear away
For one day I shall return
To walk among men (once) again
Whitest snow through cold winds blow
Buffet against my stone
Branches sway on a dreary day
Foretelling my return
Tears that fall keep warm the ground
Let me forget my toil
My stirring soul after centuries old
Of slumber 'neath the soil
Dearest moon watch o’er my tomb
Let not the words fade/wear away
For one day I shall return
To walk among men (once) again
Whitest snow through cold winds blow
Buffet against my stone
Branches sway on a dreary day
Foretelling my return
Tears that fall keep warm the ground
Let me forget my toil
My stirring soul after centuries old
Of slumber 'neath the soil
