Longing
It’s really quite repetitive
Redundant and clichéd
To think of someone so often
That you can’t forget their name
They are always on your mind
Constantly present in your dreams
And you’ve been losing sleep
Because nothing is as it seems
All you want is their hand
Intertwined with yours
But every time you leave each other
You’re empty at the core
You can’t have them now
Absolutely never you stupid fool
Forget his face and his voice
And his eyes that appear as jewels
Redundant and clichéd
To think of someone so often
That you can’t forget their name
They are always on your mind
Constantly present in your dreams
And you’ve been losing sleep
Because nothing is as it seems
All you want is their hand
Intertwined with yours
But every time you leave each other
You’re empty at the core
You can’t have them now
Absolutely never you stupid fool
Forget his face and his voice
And his eyes that appear as jewels
