Star Crosses
Laying in the coldness of my defeat
Softly singing. A rhyme so sweet
Two lovers doomed to never meet
Killed in silence, cutt so neat
An awkward position indeed
Confronted with agony
Finding no hope of company
Going to break completely
Lost in the flood of time
I cannot be yours nor you mine
Deadly hours struck nine
Checking all the vital signs
Alone in the after world called hell
I fight to break out of my shell
To you I want to run to tell
That everything will turn out well
Even if it is all just a lie
That even if we could fly
We would never make it so high
To the top, to escape. We would die
Softly singing. A rhyme so sweet
Two lovers doomed to never meet
Killed in silence, cutt so neat
An awkward position indeed
Confronted with agony
Finding no hope of company
Going to break completely
Lost in the flood of time
I cannot be yours nor you mine
Deadly hours struck nine
Checking all the vital signs
Alone in the after world called hell
I fight to break out of my shell
To you I want to run to tell
That everything will turn out well
Even if it is all just a lie
That even if we could fly
We would never make it so high
To the top, to escape. We would die
