In the End

Man:
To strong and blooming trees,
I cut them down with laughter.
To bold and daring seas,
I empty them with slaughter.

I am now the lord of the land,
leader of the seven seas.
One last domain I am to muster,
its you the sky so soon I'll conquer.

Not long poor sky before you'll die,
not long I say before we'll fly!
And so the Wrights did it my oh my,
so weep now I bid you dear sky.

. . . .

And so its done and I have won,
the sky is mine alone!
In land, sea, air, its every bone,
the greedy king of all!

But what is this? I cannot breathe,
my skin it turns now green.
Oh God, but why, I do now seethe,
Its falling oh my skin!

Oh God, oh why, what have I done,
I did not do you wrong.
All these I own, all these be gone,
and offer you a song.

God:
I laugh, I smile, I ask you little thing,
since when, oh when, you own the land I bring?
'Tis not your own, but mine alone,
how dare you name it as your own?

So now I bring, your doom I sing,
to cleanse the land anew.
You'll suffer now, all that you've done,
I give back unto you!

Man:
Forgive me Lord for now man know,
the sins that man have done.
Respect the land you loaned to man,
forgotten by all man.

God:
I laugh, I smile, I ask you little thing,
since when, oh when, you own the land I bring?
Too late your plea to me you see,
your death will cleanse all made by me.
