Bear Country Walk
Hiking in Canada spring walk in the woods
Admiring the forest, smelling the buds
The group had lecture before they set out
About bears they might see and to be in no doubt
Stick to the marked trails, make sure at all cost
You obey the instructions and please don’t get lost
For safety wear this bear coat covered in small bells
To warn of your coming 'cos bears don’t like yells
Should one get aggressive then this pepper spray
Will frighten the brown bear and send it away
Aim it carefully and squirt right down its throat
You should be quite safe with your pepper and coat.
Watch out for fresh bear turds they’re easy to see
If they belong to a grizzly turn round and flee
A walker asked how the difference one tells
Oh Grizzly's smell of pepper and are full of small bells
