"Road to redemption"

You aint cried the tears I've cried ,
and nobody even cares to know why ~
Everything I've had I lost ,
all my run ins with the law I paid the cost ~
You can have it all but lose it in minutes ,
it's taking me years to get it back but I'll get it ~
This is my final road to redemption ,
close the windows to the past so I don't have to mention ~
When I get it all back I swear I'll never lose it ,
I will no longer take life for granted or will I abuse it ~
I see things clearer cause of my mistakes ,
living life fast but it's time I hit the breaks ~
Going over and over these thoughts in my head ,
I capitalized on punishment and no longer feel dread ~
I've faced the music of who I use to be ,
2 sides to the coin but one wasn't me ~
Slipping into character when I knew it was wrong ,
I created an image just off of one song ~
You live and learn and i sure have ,
everything i wanna be is not out of reach to grab ~
I will redeem myself every part of me every section ,
and this will be my final road to redemption ~
