The Collector

Atramentous tears
variegate porcelain
Skin.

Dabbed.
Rinsed.

Breathe..

Unsettled breaths .
Trembling hands.
Faltering limbs.

"Just one more day"
Whispered..

only the eventide air
auscultates.

Affirmations displaced
Upon the breeze.

Moonbeams capture
And release into the
Stars.

Stardust And ashy
Wishes
Swirling
Out of control
Within the atmosphere.

Tangled webs
Lucid driftings
Night air chills.

Gnarled branches
Taunt..

Standing bare
Immaculate.

Lonely wanderer
Hugs herself tight.

Leans against
Concrete walls..

Shatters into
A million pieces ,
And awaits the collector
To sweep away
The remnants.
