Passionate play that ignites the fire
Of love like nothing else can do.
So what now. Now that the days of danger are seemingly afar
And all the loving peaceful people
Bask in the glory of god and sip
The wine of helpless victims
And children wear their beautiful clothes while beggars go unnoticed.
The shame burns so deeply in its nations lust for power
And the psyche ,spurned, burns
Forever. While smiling faces
Peak into the sunlight pretending all is well so all will be joyful
In the dark.
Sweat toil and blood remain
Forever etched in with scars so deep.
Barbaric histories still all the same
The bastards all now are grown
With children of their own
Swimming in pain chained to their past and blamed for everything
So they cannot breath or bury the pain
Ashes to ashes ,dust to dust
All what must be will be and what will be must be all.
Of love like nothing else can do.
So what now. Now that the days of danger are seemingly afar
And all the loving peaceful people
Bask in the glory of god and sip
The wine of helpless victims
And children wear their beautiful clothes while beggars go unnoticed.
The shame burns so deeply in its nations lust for power
And the psyche ,spurned, burns
Forever. While smiling faces
Peak into the sunlight pretending all is well so all will be joyful
In the dark.
Sweat toil and blood remain
Forever etched in with scars so deep.
Barbaric histories still all the same
The bastards all now are grown
With children of their own
Swimming in pain chained to their past and blamed for everything
So they cannot breath or bury the pain
Ashes to ashes ,dust to dust
All what must be will be and what will be must be all.
