Forever

I wonder if I'll ever see forever
seen some glimpses before
and I thought my world would be perfect
was it just a dream
a wish on a star that I never actually reached
I held on to hope
kept searching for it in your smile
your eyes
wanted to believe the tears where joyful
and that you could be taught to wipe them away
my fault for believing in you
and my fault for not seeing that forever is in my own eyes!!
