A Final Fleeting Thought

I am everything and nothing
this is how it feels
when you fall.

I fall not just through space
But time itself.
Falling in love
Was the easy part
Falling out
Was much more traumatic.
I free fall in to the open
Arms of oblivion
It calls my name
i hurtle towards
my new mistress
screaming as i fall.

somebody once told me
"its better to love,
then to never love at all"
that person obviously
hadn't fell through
a hole in the universe
because that's how this feels.

Through the carcass of dead stars
and the vacuum of space
through quantum singularity's
through worm holes
that turn my heart inside out
spit forth my form
dis-guard my flesh.
was this worth it just for a taste?

Time dilation,
past meets the present meets the future
all at once
i multiply
we all think the same thoughts
we scream in agony
as gravity and various cosmic forces
continue to tear us apart.
...then we start falling again.

Through aborted timelines
and pocket reality's
through photons and lasers
phasers and quasars
all because of you.

Shaking hands with celestial sentry's
bracing for impact
as my soul burns on re-entry

I have a fleeting thought
its your face smiling

.....It was a good thought.
